Troop 69 is a very active boy run scout troop comprised of an enthusiastic group of scouts and adults.

We are very proud of our advancement program, where dedicated adults work with scouts at all levels of advancement to help keep them on track to meet their goals.

Our troop offers:

A Boy led troop where members learn to lead in a safe environment

A strong advancement program

At least one outdoor activity each month

Summer camp

A high adventure summer activity for older scouts

Troop 69 belongs to the Northern Ridge District which is part of the Atlanta Area Council which is part of National BSA.

For those in the Order of the Arrow, the Lowanee Nimat Chapter belongs to the Egwa Tawa Dee Lodge which is part of Section SR-9 which is part of National OA.

Northern Tier Canoeing Adventure

Troop 69 is offering Northern Tier Canoeing Adventure for 24 Scouts/Adults lead by ASM, Craig Stansberry. 

The Troop will leave on July 26th and return on August 3rd, 2015.  The Canoeing Trip is 8 nights and 9 days long.  The cost of the trip may vary based on the airfare but it's estimated to $1300.00 per person.  This includes Food, Travel and accommodations/activities. You must be 14 years old or 13 and completed the 8th grade to participate and have the ability to carry 80lbs.  If you are interested in attending, the attached application needs to be filled out and submitted to the Table at the Troop meeting with a $300.00 deposit no later than August 31st.  All fees (deposit, first payment, etc) are non refundable.  Please see application for scheduled fees, requirements and cancellation policy.  Dave Pratt is the high adventure treasurer for this trip and his email is dave@lsgrp.com.

Information Table Volunteers NEEDED for 2014

We are in need of volunteers to work the Information Table during the scout meetings. This is a excellent opportunity for parents that are looking for easy volunteer positions that only requires 2 hours of your time and all the instructions are e-mail to you the week before your shift.
