Troop 69 is a very active boy run scout troop comprised of an enthusiastic group of scouts and adults.

We are very proud of our advancement program, where dedicated adults work with scouts at all levels of advancement to help keep them on track to meet their goals.

Our troop offers:

A Boy led troop where members learn to lead in a safe environment

A strong advancement program

At least one outdoor activity each month

Summer camp

A high adventure summer activity for older scouts

TROOP 69  MERIT BADGE CLINIC 

  • Registration starts at 8am in the front entrance of the MYC 
  • Class from 8:30 to 12 noon  AM   12:30 to 4pm 
    • Lunch from 12 to 12:30 
    • Total cost is $15.00
  • A sign-up genius to sign up for your class selection will be available soon.  The number of scouts per class are listed beside the class 

 

Summit Trip 2015

Dear scouters and Parents,

Troop now is taking applications for the summit trip 2015:  this is a good high adventure trip for those scouts who can’t make it to northern tier due to schedule conflict.

Northern Tier Canoeing Adventure

Troop 69 is offering Northern Tier Canoeing Adventure for 24 Scouts/Adults lead by ASM, Craig Stansberry. 

This EVENT IS FULL AND CLOSED TO ANY NEW SCOUTS. The Troop will leave on July 26th and return on August 3rd, 2015.  The Canoeing Trip is 8 nights and 9 days long.  The cost of the trip may vary based on the airfare but it's estimated to $1300.00 per person.  This includes Food, Travel and accommodations/activities. You must be 14 years old or 13 and completed the 8th grade to participate and have the ability to carry 80lbs.  If you are interested in attending, the attached application needs to be filled out and submitted to the Table at the Troop meeting with a $300.00 deposit no later than August 31st.  All fees (deposit, first payment, etc) are non refundable.  Please see application for scheduled fees, requirements and cancellation policy.  Dave Pratt is the high adventure treasurer for this trip and his email is dave@lsgrp.com.
