New Scout families - if you are wondering what a 'blue card' is, or other questions about merit badges and advancement, an informational session will take place on August 30th, 2010 during the regular scout meeting at the MYC.

Camp Powhatan is now in the memory banks, and it appeared that everyone who went enjoyed their experiences. For those Scouts at Base Camp Powhatan, the results of your merit badge work has been entered into Troopmaster, and blue cards/partials will be available at Monday's Troop Meeting (come get them at the front table!). In total, Scouts completed a total of 114 merit badges, and 56 partially completed merit badges. Even a few of our newest scouts managed to sneak in Fingerprinting merit badge. Congratulations! Badges will be awarded at the next Court of Honor (September-ish)

Another merit badge clinic on 8/21/10. Sign ups began on July 1st. Sign up individually but please contact others signing up for carpooling. See ASM Chris Dietel for Blue Cards.
